Frequently asked questions
How much will my translation cost?
Prices are set individually, taking specific project and related requirements into consideration. However, we generally apply the following universal pricing principles:
- A translation price is determined by the word count in the source text (rather than per page).
- The translation price includes a review performed by a second translator as well as the arrangement and implementation of changes from your review (i.e. you can present the translation to your specialist for review and we will prepare a final version of the text that takes the specialist’s comments into account).
- No additional fees for express delivery, specialist subject, etc.
- Typesetting, customising graphics and other similar technical activities are usually subject to an additional charge.
Do you provide translations certified by a sworn translator?
Yes, translations into Polish or English can be certified by a Polish sworn translator. We may also issue our own certificate signed by the translator, the reviewer and the project manager, where they confirm that the translation was performed in line with certain procedures and due diligence.
Which languages do you handle?
Texts intended for publication are translated only into Polish. Our preferred source language is English. Upon request, we can also provide translations from German, Dutch and French. In addition, we can prepare translations into English, but only for informational purposes (i.e. translation of tender documents or correspondence for internal use).
Do you offer DTP and website creation services?
We do not offer creative DTP services or website creation as such. However, upon request we can provide technical development of web pages and publications translated by our team. For example, we can adapt typesetting following changes to the text length, change fonts, or modify images to include Polish wording.
